Sudoku: No Ads Play now

Terms of Service

Last updated 15 October 2026

The short version: the game is free for you to play. Please don't copy it, resell it or attack the website. We work hard to keep it running smoothly, but we can't promise it will never go wrong. Your legal rights as a consumer aren't affected.

1. Who we are

Sudoku: No Ads (the “app”) and the website playsudoku.io (the “website”) are provided by Lockform Ltd, trading as Dalby Dev, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16987663, whose registered office is at 4 Rosebery Mount, Shipley, BD18 2LB, England (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can contact us at jordan@lockform.io.

2. These terms

These terms apply when you use the app on any platform or play the game on the website. By using either, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app or website.

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

3. Your permission to use the game

The game is free. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to download the app, play the game on the website, and use both for your own non-commercial enjoyment. This permission lasts until you stop using the game or we end it under section 8.

4. What you mustn't do

Please don't:

5. Who owns what

We, or the people who license material to us, own the app and the website, including their code, design, text and graphics. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you. The fonts in the game are used under the SIL Open Font License.

6. App stores

If you got the app from an app store, the store's own terms also apply to your download. The store isn't responsible for the app or for supporting it; we are. If there's a conflict between these terms and the store's terms about the store's role, the store's terms apply.

7. Your saved games

Your games, settings and statistics are saved only on your device or in your browser (see the Privacy Policy). We don't have a copy, so we can't restore them if they're lost, for example if you remove the app, clear your browser's data or change devices without a backup.

8. Changes to the game, and ending your use

We may update, change or stop offering the app or website, or any part of them, for example to fix problems, add features or meet legal requirements. Some updates may be needed for the app to keep working. We may stop your permission to use the game if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. You can stop using the game whenever you like by removing the app or leaving the website.

9. Our responsibility to you

We take reasonable care and skill in making the game, but we provide it free of charge and as it is. We don't promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.

If the app or website damages a device or other digital content belonging to you, and that damage is caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you reasonable compensation. We are not responsible for damage you could have avoided by following our advice to apply an update we offered free of charge, or by meeting the minimum system requirements we told you about.

We are not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable when you started using the game, or for any business losses, because the game is for personal use only. Apart from the damage described above, and to the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to £100.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit or exclude. These terms don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in the game. We'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear in the app or on the website. If you keep using the game after a change, the new terms apply.

11. Other important terms

12. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings about them in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protection that the consumer laws of your country give you.
